Loy, Ashley Elizabeth, 36, of Tampa, FL. passed away on May 11, 2020. Ashley was born and raised in Tampa and graduated with the class of 2002 from Sickles High School. As a young lady, she enjoyed spending time with her friends and roller skating. As she got older her circle friends grew. She took pride in making everlasting connections and taking care of others. Ashley found her calling for taking care of other after caring for her great grandmother and her own father when they were at the end stages of life. That turned into her passion of being a Home Healthcare Assistant. She valued her time spent caring for others. She was known not only as very caring, but as a fixer; always willing to help others. To Ashley, the most important thing was family and she loved her two boys more than anything. She loved joking around with them, watching movies, watching them compete in a variety of sports and just hanging out. They were her everything.
Ashley is preceded in death by her Nana and Gramps and her father, Robert Rice. She is survived by her two sons, Jaxton Loy and Carter Martinez; mother, Karen Loy; sister, Taylor Brown; grandparents, Tommie (Umpie) and Mary Jane (Nanie/Mum) Carter; Aunt, Kim Loy; cousin, DJ Loy-Garcia; as well as many extended family and long-time friends.
Family will receive friends to celebrate her life from 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday, May 26th at Blount and Curry Carrollwood located at 3207 West Bearss Ave. Tampa, FL. 33618. A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 27th at St. Timothy Catholic Church located at 17512 Lakeshore Rd. Lutz, FL. 33558. All are welcomed to attend, but church is requesting everyone wear a mask and enter church from the south entrance.
