Barbara Ann Driggers passed away peacefully on December 28, 2019. She was born on April 11, 1936 to the late Robert William and Kathleen Leavine. She was a graduate of Hillsborough High School. She spent a number of years working at Ernie Hare Ford where she met the love of her life. They married on May 1st, 1971. She volunteered for her children’s PTA which lead to her taking a job with the Hillsborough County School system where she worked until retirement. She loved to read, spend time with family, friends, and pets and watching hockey. She was very happy to have been able to see the Lightning win the Stanley Cup this past season. Her immense love for her family will continue to be felt by all of us. She was proceeded in death by her loving husband Teller "Buck" Driggers in 1991. She is survived by her brother Bill Leavine and children Kathy and Timothy Driggers. Due to her great care for others and wanting everyone to be safe, there will be a graveside service on Friday January 8th at Garden of Memories Cemetery. All are welcome with masks required. A larger memorial may be planned at a later time. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her memory to the American Heart Association or the Arthritis Foundation.
