Betty was born April 7, 1935 in New Paltz, New York, the daughter of William and Mary Schoonmaker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Saunders; brother, Warren Schoonmaker and sister, Marie Mosier. Survivors include her sons, Robert W. Brewer and David W. Saunders (Sheila); brothers, Jake Schoonmaker (Evelyn) and Bill Schoonmaker (Kathy); grandchildren, Amanda Beighle (Jordan), Jessica and Rebecca Brewer, Christopher and Staci O'Bryan and Ryan Saunders; and three great-grandchildren and one on-the-way. Betty is also survived by her beloved cats, Olivia, Highway and Baby Jane.
A memorial service for Betty will be held Saturday, June 30, 2018 at 2:00 PM at Blount & Curry, Terrace Oaks Funeral Home and Crematory, 12690 N 56th St, Temple Terrace, FL 33617.
