West, Britni Antionette of Tampa/St. Petersburg passed away in the early hours of May 7, 2016 at the age of 29. In her presence you knew that this girl was a beautiful soul, placed here to spread joy and grace. She was kindhearted, generous and always put other’s needs ahead of her own. Throughout her short life she surrounded herself with people that became stronger and better individuals for knowing her; restored not just in her presence but also in the presence of those she brought together. She was truly a bright light to all who had the pleasure to meet her and of course genuinely know her. Our lives are forever changed for knowing her, loving her and now losing her. “To live in the hearts we leave behind is not to die.” Thomas Campbell Our beautiful angel was preceded in death by her grandparents, Charles and Gertrude Goebel and her aunt, Sharon Goebel. Britni is survived by her parents, Tricia Heaney (Rob) and Mark West (Laura); her grandmothers, Mary Rogers and Ann Heaney; her sisters, Melissa and Rachel West; her brother-cousin, Nickolas Kosteck; her step-sister, Danielle Hendrix (Morgan); her cousins, Nate West (Tsuba), Danielle Kirk (Corey), Joy Bonetti, Leopoldo Bonetti, Victoria Zeccola, Lindsay Didden, Peter Goebel, Charles Goebel and Nolan Smith; her aunts & uncles, Michael West (Alicia), Donna Didden, Kathi West, Dawn Bare, Karen Nochella (Rob); her dear friend, John Forbes; her beloved Snooki; a loving albeit large group of friends and the FL D.O.T family. In lieu of a funeral service, there will be a celebration of life on Saturday, May 14, 2016 at 1:00 pm at a private lake front home. The family asks that you dress comfortably for warm weather and wear Britni’s favorite color, purple. “It’s not how much we give but how much love we put into giving.” Mother Theresa
