Mr. Carl Lynn Allen, age 82, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, August 31, 2025. He was born on September 3, 1942, in Springfield, Ohio. He graduated from Kent University in 1966 and served in the U.S. Army. Carl moved to Tampa, FL with his family in 1980 and worked as a District Manager for American Greetings before his retirement.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Mary Allen; and parents, Carl and Mary Allen. He is survived by his two children, Kevin Allen and Kathy Larson; his three grandchildren, Jake Allen, Ian Larson and Chelsea Larson; and his sister, Cindy Mason.
Over the years, Carl enjoyed coaching, fishing, watching baseball, and the loyal companionship of his beloved dogs.
The family wishes to thank family and friends for their condolences and support through this difficult time. Carl was deeply loved and will be missed by all.
The burial service will be held at the Florida National Cemetery, 6502 S.W. 102nd Ave. Bushnell, FL 33513, on September 26, at 1:00 PM.
