Carmen was born on March 28, 1947, in Puerto Rico. She was predeceased by her beloved mother, Emilia Soto, and her niece, Karen Hance. Carmen never married and had no children, but she built a life rich in meaningful relationships and lasting friendships.
She is survived by her brother, Francisco Soto of Pennsylvania, and his children, Patricia Conti of New Jersey and Frank Soto of Georgia. She also leaves behind Suzanne Soto of New Jersey, who, despite life’s changes, remained a close and devoted sister-in-law. Carmen is also survived by her great-niece, Shelby Conti of New Jersey, whom she adored and was immensely proud of. Carmen cherished being a great aunt and loved sharing photos and moments of Shelby with family and friends.
Carmen will be remembered as a kind soul and a devoted friend. Her warmth, compassion, and gentle spirit left a lasting impression on all who were fortunate enough to know her. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
Private interment will take place at Garden of Memories Cemetery, Tampa, Florida.
