Cassandra "Sandy" Harris

CASSANDRA "SANDY" HARRIS went to be with our Lord on April 15, 2021. Born March 12, 1948, she is survived by her loving husband of 40 years, Tommy Harris; her son Michael Golden, her sister Yvonne Rojka, her brother O'Neil Gibson, brother in law Steve Harris, nieces, nephews and many cousins who loved her dearly. Sandy was a Tampa Native and a 1966 graduate of King High School and HCC. She was past-president of The Chiselers, Inc. and a member of Bayshore Baptist Church.

Sandy is predeceased by her adoptive parents, Ellen and Kermit Hall. She was excited to have recently found a brother and cousins from her birth mother and enjoyed spending time with her new-found family members.

Sandy was simply beautiful. inside and out. She will be remembered for her gorgeous red hair, her sense of humor and infectious laugh. Her interior design ability was second to none. She was an amazing self-taught pianist. She enjoyed spending time on Anna Maria Island, fishing with special friends in Boca Grande and the surprise anniversary weekends planned by Tommy. Always dressed immaculately and perfectly coiffed, she enjoyed lunch out with friends. When needed, she would drop everything to help anyone.

A private service will be held for immediate family. In Sandy's honor, donations may be made to the Chiseler's Inc, Bayshore Baptist or Rocky Creek Baptist Church.
