Chad and I met when I was seven and he was 6, 52 years he has been my friend we played baseball together when he would pitch I would catch when I would pitch he would catch we played football together basketball at the Rusboldts House across the street from Barker we even played in winter because everybody knows if your male and born in the state of Indiana your first gift is a basketball during the hardest times of my life my friend was there for me I don’t know what I was to him but he was my best friend and for everything he ever did for me on his birthday a few years back we went to the St. Pete Times forum Neil, Kellie chad, and I for his birthday I arranged tickets to see Aerosmith front row first four seats stage right chad said it was the best birthday he’s ever had I’m honored to have played a part in that I’m honored to have called him friend thoughts prayers and condolences to the family Godspeed my friend see you on the other side one day, this photograph is of the night we went to see the concert I’m honored to have had a part to give you the best birthday you’ve ever had chad  Love you my brother from a different mother 💔😢🙏”RIP Chet”

Craig, Charlie & Miller Family,

I was saddened by the news of the passing of Chad.  I have great memories of the Edgewood neighborhood.  Summers were filled with little league baseball, pick-up basketball games and going to the beach.  When CJ would come home from Florida he would take the crew to the beach with a cooler full and cigars from Tampa!

When night would come we would carouse the neighborhood and partake in occasional shenanigans!

Chad will be dearly missed, Cheers!

My deepest condolences to the Miller family. 

I have wonderful memories of the times I spent with Chad in high school. He was a great guy and his family was always very welcoming to me.  

This photo is from prom. I drove Chad’s car and hung it up on a railroad tie coming out of the neighbor’s driveway leaving pre-prom get together. Chad was not happy with me 🙂 The next day, we had the best time going to Great America together.  So many fond memories. 

Rest In Peace, Chad.  You touched many lives.

I’ve known Chad for years and can truly say that he has made me laugh every single time I saw him. His natural ability to poke at you followed by his laugh that you could pick out from across the room will always be in my memory and bring a smile to my face. His love for his adorable little dog Bear transcended Bear’s life as Chad would proudly talk about how he had him buried alongside the K-9 Heroes at Curlew Hills Pet Cemetery. We could always could count on Chad to argue about his beloved Miami Dolphins, be the Anti-Buc fan, show pictures of Wookie, and just plain get everyone riled up for all to amuse.
To his family: Chad will be kept alive in our memories and will remain frequent in our conversations. He will live on in Tampa.

Dearest Miller Family,
I always remember Chad’s quiet demeanor but still always had a slight smile. Whenever I’d go to Al’s( I think that’s the grocery store he worked ) in HS I’d see him there and he’d say Hi so quietly with that side grin smile. He was one of the good guys!!  Always so sweet. He will be missed.

First met Chad and Charlie when we played City League Football in Michigan City (Chad #30 and Charlie #39 in the attached picture).  We later played together in high school.  What a great teammate and friend.   Loved Chad's sense of humor.  May his soul rest in peace.

Dear Craig, Charlie and Family,

I am so, very saddened to hear of the loss of, Chad. We were very fortunate that, our dear neighbors from about, 55 yrs. ago from, Boyd Circle were, living near us in Tampa Bay.  What a small world, it is. 

Both your Father and Chad would, attend many of my father and brother's concerts that, they promoted in Florida. Over the past years, we spent much more time with, Chad. Were so, blessed that all of us have, stayed in  touch and visited with, over all these years.
