Charles "Russell" Falin, age 90, of Tampa, Florida passed away on Friday, February 28, 2025 at Melech Hospice House, Temple Terrace, Florida. Born January 21, 1935 in Knoxville, TN, he was one of thirteen children of the late Nelson and Mary Falin.
Russell was a veteran of the Korean War serving in the US Airforce. He worked as a maintenance technician for King Arthurs Inn for over 20 years.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 37 years, Carol Falin (2002), his siblings, Betty Hughes, Lois Mothershed, Becky Evans, Bill Falin, Dickie Falin, David Falin, Danny Falin, Stevie Falin and Gary Falin.
He will be remembered and missed by his sisters, Doby Booher, Patsy Epperson, and Millie Lockhart;and many nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will gather at a visitation for Russell on Thursday, March 6, 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at Blount & Curry Funeral Home at Garden of Memories, 4207 E LAKE AVE, TAMPA, FL 33610. Following the visitation will be a graveside service from 2:30 PM to 3:00 PM at Myrtle Hill Memorial Park, 4891 E Lake Ave, Tampa, FL 33610.
