Chet was born in Bedford, Ohio and raised on the east side of Cleveland, Ohio. From 1967 to 1969, Chet served in Vietnam in the U.S. Army, 9th Infantry, Company C, 29th Division. In 1978, Chet received his Associates Degree in Business Administration from Cuyahoga Community College and moved to Florida and fell in love with the beach and sunshine. Chet obtained his Series 6 and Series 7 licenses and completed his last 30 working years as a Financial Planner.
During his lifetime, Chet enjoyed running, playing racquetball, boating, hunting, riding horses, fishing, golfing and riding motorcycles.
Chet will be missed by wife Connie, daughter Kim, son Stephen, stepdaughters Jessie and Jennie, and grandchildren Kayla, Aaren, Silvia, Larissa, Evan, Mollie, and Katie.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 4, at 1pm at First Unity Spiritual Campus, 460 46th Ave. N., St. Petersburg, FL 33703.
