

Dalia Marie Pino Plowman, 80, of Tampa, Fla., passed away on Saturday March 9, 2024 at 5:30 a.m. after her courageous battle with cancer. Our thanks to Moffitt Cancer Center and Hospice Care for their wonderful care and dedication.
Dalia was born on August 25, 1943 to Bernarda & Antonio Pino in Tampa, FL(Gonzalez Clinic Ybor City)
Dalia graduated from Jefferson High School 1961.
In 1961 Dalia met John D. Plowman(Dave) of Tampa and were married on November 25, 1962 at OLPH Catholic church in Ybor City. Dalia and Dave went on to have two children, Gina Marie Plowman and David Anthony Plowman. Dave and Dalia have been married for 61 years.
Dalia retired from Hillsborough County Schools as a paraprofessional.
Dalia loved socializing with her many friends, cooking and activities with family. Dalia was a terrific dancer and loved attending local dances like the Fabulous Rockers.
Dalia was predeceased by Antonio Pino, Bernarda Pino, Paul and Angela Plowman, Theresa Thornton, Kenneth Thornton, Melissa Thornton, Miles Plowman & aunts and uncles. She is survived by husband, John D. "Dave" Plowman; daughter, Gina Marie Plowman; son, David Anthony Plowman (Jill Plowman); sister, Mirta Thornton; niece, Lisa Thornton; nephew, Vic Thornton; brother, Anthony Pino (Margie); nephew, Anthony C. Pino.
A funeral mass for Dalia will be celebrated 10 a.m. Thursday, March 21, 2024 at St. Lawrence Catholic Church, 5225 North Himes Avenue, Tampa, Florida. Interment to follow in Myrtle Hill Memorial Park, 4228 East Lake Avenue, Tampa, Florida.
Dalia will be greatly missed by her many friends and family members. She was a beautiful, loving, caring and devoted wife, mother and friend. There are no words to describe our deep sadness from her loss.
