I’ve had the privilege of working with Deb for many years, and during that time, she consistently radiated warmth, kindness, and compassion. Her gentle spirit and caring nature touched everyone around her. I will deeply miss her beautiful smile and the way she always ended our conversations with her signature phrase: “Have a lovely day!” She truly meant it and she made every day a little lovelier for those who knew her.

I had the absolute pleasure and privilege to have Deb as a cherished friend and co-worker for over 15 years. She made all of the flight delays and long days worth it. So smart. So quirky. So supportive. We talked every work day. We loved when Deb would drive down to visit on Pine Island, Fl in the winter. She was always willing to try new artistic outlets. I am the proud owner of some of her weaving and fused glass pieces. Deb never forgot her Wisconsin roots. She loved her family dearly. That girl could never walk past a museum without a visit. We talked often during her cancer journey and she was always so positive. Such a private person but I think she shared all of her best pieces. Deb ended EVERY phone call with “have a wonderful day”. I think we all need to be a little bit more like Deb. Miss her so much.

Deb was a wonderful giving person.  When I began having issues walking and was talking about a project I was trying to complete, Deb  immediately said she would help.  Always one to be there if you needed help.  I am so glad she was part of my walk in this life.  She will be missed.

Deb was a student of  glass fusing at Taylor Art Studio for close to fifteen years. Always with a kind word, or a quick wit, Deb sure knew how to keep things real. One of the things I most admired about Deb was she never took things too seriously. Her love of art, especially weaving, was an inspiration to me personally. I will always cherish the shawl she wove for me as a Christmas gift; it will serve as a constant reminder of Deb's gentle nature and glowing smile. My deepest condolences to her family and those close to her; she will be sorely missed.

I had the privilege of working with Deb on my team.  She was a delightful individual.  She had a wonderful work ethic and always volunteered to take on extra work and assist her fellow teammates.  Deb ha d a thirst for knowledge and loved to travel.   I know she will be greatly missed. My prayers go out to her family and friends.

Deb and I met through work and bonded over crafting.  After she moved on from our unit, we kept in touch and shared whatever we were working on, weaving or knitting or stained glass. It always made my day to see a message pop up from her just checking in. I will miss her and our chats. My condolences to her family.

Deb was a seasoned traveler and knew how to enjoy whatever city we happened to be visiting (from Wausau to Tampa)! I am so thankful for the great times we had together. She will be sorely missed - always the voice of reason and always ready for an adventure. Praying for peace for her family.

We are so sorry with this news. The friendship Debs  had with  Marie was on another level I know she will be greatly missed. all love the Smiths

Had the pleasure of working with Deb years ago. She had a kind heart and a wry sense of humor. I recall picking her up at the airport in Des Moines for work in the wintertime. Her comment, “Is it always this cold in an Iowa?”Hadn’t chatted in a bit, but will always remember her kid nature.

Deb was my seminar buddy.  I’d look forward to seeing her there when I went.  So intelligent, kind and humble.  I was lucky to have met her.

I will miss Deb's sense of humor and her Florida hurricane reports to us Northerners.  Deb had a bright mind and never took herself too seriously, which was refreshing whilst we worked remotely.  God's Blessings to Deb and her family.
