

Donald Eugene Parker, age 85, passed away on April 8, 2026. He was born on October 24, 1940, in Chattanooga, Tennessee to John and Winnie Parker.
Donald was a man who loved animals, nature, and the simple pleasures in life. He enjoyed fishing, collecting antiques, and the gentle song of windchimes on a slow summer evening.
Born with a green thumb, he had an affinity for plants and flowers, and the uncanny ability to grow or sprout nearly anything from seed or clipping.
He had an acute admiration for the American muscle car, and from an early age took great joy in building and driving his own custom creations. In time, this mastery was accompanied by an unmatched aptitude to build, fix, or repair nearly anything.
His generosity knew no bounds, and he would never turn away someone in need of any of his many talents. To him, it was the way he showed love.
As a profession, Donald was a skilled autobody tradesman who took immense pride in his work. He had a lengthy and diverse life in the trade, and, in the final 20 years of his career went on to retire from Bill Currie Ford.
Donald is survived and missed by his wife his wife, Pamela Parker of 33 years, his four children: Donna (Rod), J ames (Tammy), Debbie, and Michael (Kathy); three step- daughters: Sheri (Steve), Jodi, and Toni (Jason); 17 grandchildren (one preceded in death); 10 great grandchildren; 3 great, great grandchildren; two sisters, Dimples and Cherry; and his faithful, furry companion, Ricky.
Donald is preceded in death by his brother and best friend, Larry Parker.
We will always remember Donald for his steady hands and quiet strength. He touched our lives in so many ways and will be deeply missed by his family, but he will remain in our hearts forever.
A memorial graveside service will be held at Garden Of Memories, 4207 E Lake Ave, Tampa, FL 33610 11:00am on Saturday, April 18, 2026.
