

King, Doris J., 72, passed away on October 27, 2015. Doris moved to Tampa ten years ago from Middletown, PA. When in Middletown, she was employed as a bookkeeper with Brenner’s Automotive Parts for many years. Doris was preceded in death by her father Clarence Dupes. She is survived by her mother, Betty Baumbach; daughters, Shari Nigro (Keith); Rae Lenker (Michael); grandchildren, Justin Lenker, Darby Nigro, Austin (A.J.) Nigro; sister, Barbara Arnold (Edward); and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Most important in life to Doris was her family. Then fifteen years ago, she started researching the family tree and genealogy which she enjoyed immensely. Doris was also very artistic and innovative in making and selling homemade candy which helped pay for her daughter’s college textbooks. Her family and other neighborhood children were spoiled with homemade caramel, peanut butter cups and other delicious sweets. A memorial service to celebrate Doris’ life will be held on Friday, October 30th, at 6:30 pm at the Blount & Curry Funeral Home, Carrollwood Chapel, 3207 W. Bearss Ave., Tampa, FL with the family receiving guests one hour prior. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Lifepath Hospice, 12470 Telecom Drive, Suite 300 West Temple Terrace, FL 33637.
