Hitchman, Dorothy "Dot", N., 89, of Lutz, Florida, passed away on January 10, 2016 surrounded by her family. She was born in Cleveland, Ohio and relocated to Lutz in 1949. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clifford H. Hitchman and grandson, Matt. She is survived by her son, Clifford M. (Kathi); daughter’s, Cathy Lewis (Bob) and Cindy Chavis (Robbie); 6 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. She was a baseball fan and was an active member of Tim’s Memorial Presbyterian Church in Lutz. She was a supporter and volunteer of the Asthma/Allergy Foundation. She was retired from the Registrar’s Office at U.S.F. after 20 plus years. She was adored by her loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. A visitation will take place on Wednesday, January 13, 2016 from 5-6 pm with a service to follow at 6 pm in the Blount & Curry Funeral Home Carrollwood Chapel, 3207 W.
