Edna Margaret Paschall Allan

Edna Margaret was born March 25, 1929 in a small farming community in Gibson County, Tennessee. She was the oldest, surviving daughter of eleven children born to Edward Wyette and Myrtle Alberta Needham.

Growing up, she attended the former Mason Hall School and along with her brothers and sister, worked on the farm to help maintain a livelihood for the family.

Worshipping at Christian Chapel and Lowrance Chapel in Tennessee, the Grand Avenue congregation in Chicago, Illinois, the former North Street, Nebraska Avenue and the Seffner congregations in Florida, she was a longtime member of the church of Christ and the devoted wife of Johnny Lee Paschall for nearly thirty years, until his untimely death in 1975.

As an employee at the bookstore and in the mail room at Florida College in Temple Terrace, FL she was an inspiration to her co-workers and students alike. It was during this time she met James E. Allan and remarried in 1997, essentially doubling her family. Mr. Allan has four surviving children, James Edward Allan, Jr. of Colorado Springs, CO, Martin Douglas Allan from Milton, WV, Ronald Dale of Mannington, WV and Dennis Gordon Allan in Sao Paulo, Brazil.

After another eighteen years of marriage, Mr. Allan died in 2015. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Cheryl Jeanine Morris.

Edna Margaret is preceded in death by her parents, nine of her siblings, two husbands and one son, Jackie. One younger brother, Benson Craig Needham of Athens, TN survives.

The mother of three sons, Jerry Nathan Paschall of Vernon, AL, Jackie Wyette Paschall, formerly of Dade City, FL and Jimmy Crandall Paschall of Tampa, FL. She leaves behind a loving memory to them, their wives, Kathleen, Judy (deceased) and Carol, seven grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren, three great-great grandchild and a host of friends and family. Her life and devotion to God, friends and family remains a resounding inspiration to the many whose lives she touched.

Edna's grandsons Jeremy, Jeffrey, Jared, and Brent Paschall will be officiating services for Edna Margaret at the Blount & Curry Funeral Home Chapel Saturday August 23, 2025 at 12pm at Garden of Memories Funeral Home in Tampa, FL.
