Eugene Manuel Simón, Jr. Genie passed on to his eternal reward May 25, 2011. He was born on July 10, 1940 and lived a long and happy life. He was loved by many, especially his family at Countryside Group Home. He is survived by his mother Carmen Simón, his brothers Gerry (Elaine), and Bob (Jo) Simón, and his sister, Cookie (John) Fosselman. He also leaves behind many nieces and nephews. A mass of celebration will take place on Saturday, May 28 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Bradenton at 10:30a.m. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be sent to United Cerebral Palsy of Tampa Bay.
