

Pullara, Francesco “Frank”, 88, was born in Santo Stefano Quisquina, Sicily, a resident of Tampa for most of his adult life, passed away July 17, 2016. We take comfort in knowing that he is now at peace and has rejoined his beloved wife of 55 years, Ruby. Frank was all about FAMILY. He had a large, wonderful and loving family. He is survived by his four daughters, Bonnie Pullara, Marie McKinnon (David), Tina Saunders (Will Beckwith) and Jody O’Brien (Michael); nine grandchildren, Matthew Schubauer (Lisa), David Schubauer (Joelle), Melissa Pettit (Josh), David McKinnon Jr., Jeannie Banks (Jeff), Leah Saunders (Alex Bueno), Kara Saunders, Courtney Keene and Michael O’Brien Jr.; nine great-grandchildren, TJ, John, Tate, Grady, Jacob, Avry, Zachary, Addison and Mason; one surviving sister, Lil Kearns and three brothers, Sal (Josie), Johnny and Joe (Barbara) Pullaro; along with many nephews and nieces. A funeral service will take place on Sunday, July 24, 2016 at Blount and Curry Funeral Home Carrollwood Chapel, 3207 W. Bearss Ave. in Tampa. The family will receive friends from 12:30-1:30 pm, with a service starting at 1:30 p.m. A burial will immediately follow at Sunset Memory Gardens.
