

Frank joined the Navy in 1954, and was discharged in 1957. After his discharge Frank joined the Navy Reserves which he was a member for over 30 years. Frank worked for the United States Postal Service for 34 years and retired in 1992.
After retiring from the Postal Service he moved to Floral City, Florida. It was there, he became president of an organization “Too Far”. This was an organization that was fighting for the waterways and environment in and around Citrus County. Frank was very passionate about helping people, the environment and the waterways. Frank Robinson was always a leader and when he took on a project it was always 100%.
Frank enjoyed working with kids and coaching baseball at Wellswood Little League. He became the President of Wellswood Little League for 2 years. He did everything possible to make things better for the park and the kids. Frank and his son Alan began fishing in bass tournaments in a small bass club. There was nothing he enjoyed more than being on a lake fishing. Frank would spend hours on the water and just being outside. He was also a huge Tampa Bay Bucs fan who would never miss watching a game although he swore many times times never to watch them again.
Frank is preceded in death by his sister Chloe Coggins and brother Harmon Robinson. He is survived by his brothers Elbert and Marvin Robinson, his children Vickie & Danny Holtsclaw, Alan & Annette Robinson, Sherri Robles & Kevin Robles, and Billy & Jennifer Robinson and several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
A service will be held on Saturday, January 7, 2023 at Northside Bilble Church located at 405 Hayes Rd. in Lutz, Florida.
Family will receive visitors from 12:00-1:00 with a service at 1:00 pm.
Following the service the family would invite you to join for a celebration of life at Lakeshore Villa Clubhouse located at 15401 Lakeshore Villa Street.
In lieu of flowers a donation could be made to The American Cancer Society.
