FEBRUARY 10, 1939 – JANUARY 16, 2021
Franklin Alroy Ryan was born on February 10, 1939, in Kingston, Jamaica and passed away on January 16, 2021, at home. His Mother lived in Kingston on and off for a time after she married his Father because his Father worked at sea all the time. When Frank turned 9 his Father decided to sent Frank and His Mother to the States, He did not want his son going to sea and wanted him to learn a better trade in life. When Frank was old enough to go to trade school he learned several different trades and had a lot of friends that where his mentors in life and lead him in the right direction. At the trade school he just happened to find me one day and came running after me down the sidewalk and the rest is history of our lives together. My real live Knight in Shining Armour. He was a Great Husband and Father and provider. He worked at several radio stations in the bay area, went to Dallas and got a degree in Computer in its infancy, while there had a job at a PBS TV Station, came home and went to work for PBS TV Station in the bay area and worked at the phone company in the bay area and retired from there. I think his Father was proud of his son and the decisions He made in life having never in his lifetime to plow salt water in life like his Father had too...and is under the care of Blount & Curry Funeral Home at Garden of Memories 4207 East Lake Avenue, Tampa, Florida 33610.
