She was born in Allen, Kentucky in 1942 to Stanley Richie and Effie Gearheart. Gail attended high school and had three children before starting a long career at the United States Postal Service.
Gail was preceded in death by her husband Gary, her parents, and her brother Forest. She is survived by her three sons Mark, Mitchell and Michael, five grandchildren, and six great grandchildren.
Visitation is Monday, March 03, 2025, from 10 am to 12 pm at Blount & Curry Funeral Home - Carrollwood located at 3207 W. Bearss Ave. Tampa, FL. 33618. She will be interred with her husband at the Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, Florida.
