

Gail was born in Buffalo, New York, on November 13, 1956, to Howard and Francis Kranz. She married the love of her life, Mark Pawlus, on July 27, 1985, in Buffalo. Gail worked for Fisher-Price for ten years and later dedicated another ten years to the United States Postal Service. Throughout her life, she was deeply involved in her church community and was always ready for an adventure. Her greatest joy came from time spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who were truly the light of her life.
Gail is preceded in death by her parents, Howard and Francis Kranz.
She is survived by her devoted husband, Mark; his daughter Rebecca and Corey; Bernina and Jonathon; Marcus and Carissa; Manteus; and Darius. She is also survived by her brothers, Howard and Michael; her sister, Dawn; her beloved grandchildren, Jason, Alyssa, Kano, Brody, Elly, and Axl; and her great-grandchild, Valentino.
A visitation and viewing will be held at Blount & Curry Funeral Home–Carrollwood, 3207 W Bearss Ave, Tampa, FL 33618, on December 10, 2025, from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. A funeral service will follow at the same location from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
A committal service will be conducted at Florida National Cemetery, 6502 SW 102nd Ave, Bushnell, FL 33513, on December 10, 2025, from 1:30 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Gail will be remembered for her kind and adventurous spirit, her unwavering love for her family, and the joy she brought to all who knew her. Her presence will be deeply missed, and her memory will be forever cherished.
