Born in New Brunswick, NJ, Georgette ran a childcare center in her home for more than 15 years. She enjoyed spending time with her family, celebrating holidays and birthdays with loved ones. Georgette was an avid fan of General Hospital and Wheel of Fortune.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Kenneth J. Derr.
Georgette is survived by her daughters, Karen Derr and Sharon Rigotty; Granddaughters, Rachel Kline and Sarah Bollard.
A visitation will be held at Blount & Curry FH-Carrollwood, located at 3207 W Bearss Ave, Tampa, FL 33618, on December 18, 2025, from 10:30 am to 11:00 am.
Following the visitation, a funeral wake service will take place at the same venue starting at 11:00 am with a reception to follow.
