Gloria Ann Jones

Jones, Gloria Ann, 67, of Tampa entered into rest on Saturday, September 16, 2017. She was born in Atlanta, GA to the late Clara Nell Joiner and Thomas Caldwell Geeslin. Gloria was a devoted member of Carrollwood Baptist Church and volunteer for the Community Food Pantry at Village Presbyterian Church. She dedicated her time to sending out a daily devotional which inspired everyone who read it. She was a loving and caring person who never met a stranger, it was not uncommon for her to begin speaking with a complete stranger and pray with them before they departed ways. She loved her family immensely and enjoyed nothing more than spending time with them every chance she had. Gloria leaves behind her husband, Danny L Jones; children, Ben Jones (Rachel) and Wendi Pierce; sisters, Diane Kummelman (Mike), Cindy Walker (Eddie) and Terri Milholin; grandson, Declan; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. A funeral service will take place at 12pm on Thursday, September 21, 2017 at Blount & Curry Funeral Home Carrollwood Chapel, 3207 W Bearss Ave, Tampa; Family will start receiving guests at 10am. Flowers may be sent directly to the funeral home.
