Isabel “Taty” Williams was born August 1, 1935 in beautiful Vega Baja, Puerto Rico to the late Ramon Pagan and Natividad Silva Rodriguez, her biological parents. But as we know, Carmelo Rodriguez—Papa—was her dad. Though he was not her biological father, he raised her, just as she raised so many of us.
She was the fourth oldest of six sisters. And after moving to New York from Puerto Rico, she met and married the late Curtis Williams. Through this union two beautiful daughters were born, Michele Williams and Elizabeth Williams Jones.
Isabel was loved and highly regarded by so many. So much so, that she very deservingly received the employee of the year award time and time again. She was in the business of helping people, which she did selflessly and unwaveringly throughout every stage of her life. She was an extraordinary woman with a loving spirit. She was the irresistible center of the family.
On Saturday August 22, 2020, she departed this life to begin a new journey homeward by joining her loved ones that have passed on before her. She is now resting peacefully in the arms of angels.
She leaves behind to cherish her memories two sisters, Elsie Rodriguez and Betty Dieppa. Two daughters, Michele Williams and Elizabeth Williams Jones. Three grandchildren, Mark Anthony Eleutice, Amanda Michele Andino and Lauren Elizabeth Jones Davis. Nine great grandchildren, one great great grandchild and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
