Jack "Da" Blackmar

He was preceded in death by our beautiful daughter Valoree Bond and his parents Chester William Blackmar and Annie Gaskins Blackmar both of Tampa.

Missing him in life are his wife Jane E Blackmar, daughter Christee Bond, her son Jabin Kooistra and her husband Kasey Chunn along with their loving grandchildren that we raised, Jonah G. Perry  Zoe A. Perry, and Naomi M. E. Perry, Jacks brothers Robert Blackmar, his wife Belinda Blackmar and their children Erica and Michael. His brother Gary Blackmar, his wife Donna Blackmar, their wonderful sons David Blackmar his wife Cristina Blackmar, Daniel Blackmar his wife Kara Blackmar, and Bennett Blackmar our most recent great nephew and the youngest nephew Matthew Blackmar. Our beloved Niece Trish Hauber and her wife Nikki Frantz Hauber and their children Carl M. Hauber and Kate Frantz and Landen Frantz.

He retired from Patmar Supply where he worked for almost 40 years before retiring.

He enjoyed family, going to Disney, and keeping the lawn immaculate which will be greatly missed.

He was loved by all who knew him, caring, kind, and giving. He never put himself first but always waited until his family had all that they needed or wanted.

Donations can be sent to the ALS (Lou Gehrig Disease) Foundation for a cure. The disease that took his life.

Our love for him will never leave our hearts and we are grateful for the time we had.

A graveside service for Jack will be held Sunday, March 2, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at Garden of Memories Cemetery, Tampa, Tampa, FL 33610.
