

JAMES RICHARD LYMAN (Jim) Born May 21, 1938, Appleton, Wisconsin Died January 11, 2018, Cheval, Lutz, Florida From complications of Alzheimer's Disease Jim was an accomplished photographer, writer and editor with a degree in Journalism from the University of Wisconsin. He retired in 1993 after 25 years of service with GTE Public Affairs Department. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Linda; daughters, Diane (Garland) Roth of Brooklyn, Iowa, and Joan Stone of Ames, Iowa; and son, Steven (Kris) of Lutz, Florida. Together, they have six grandchildren; Chelsea Sadler, Ashley Eakins, Emily and Luke Logan, James and Ellasue Lyman; and two great-grandchildren, Delaira and Blake Sadler. He was predeceased by his parents and sister, Marjorie. Jim was a lifelong Green Bay Packer fan and an avid southpaw golfer. His easy going manner and wry wit will be missed by all who knew him. A visitation will be held at Blount & Curry Funeral Home Carrollwood, 3207 W Bearss Ave, on Tuesday, January 16 from 4:30-6:30PM with a memorial service at 6PM.
