James Robertson Price Jr.

Jim was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to James and Hazel (Horstmeyer) Price on April 9, 1927.  He went to school at Riverside High School in Milwaukee and went on to earn his degree in Engineering from The University of Wisconsin, Madison. Jim married Wilma Pfund on March 19, 1949, in Gilmanton, Wisconsin and lived in Brookfield for many years. He founded Price Engineering in 1953. He loved his job and hired his friends until he retired in 2000. 

Jim always said if he hadn't been an engineer, he would have enjoyed being a travel agent. Jim and Wilma traveled extensively, seeing the world together for many years. They had a close circle of friends, playing bridge, traveling and making movies together. Jim and Wilma were theater enthusiasts, enjoying stage performances of all kinds, with a special fondness for musicals. Jim was a dedicated golfer, an avid supporter of all Wisconsin sports teams, and especially loved the Packers and Badgers. Jim was a leader and active member of the Episcopal church in Wisconsin and in Florida.

Jim is survived by his wife, Wilma and two children, James R Price III (Vieve Radha) and Laural Price (James) Portz. Jim loved his family and always had fierce loyalty to his tribe. He was grandfather to Jessica Portz Birken, Aaron Portz (Cherry Ortega), Devon (Evie Gibelly) Price, Caitlin Price (Peter Bayne) and Megan Price (Marc Weiner), and great grandfather to Alexandra Birken, Samantha Birken, Brandon Price, Samuel Price, Jason Price, Adrian Weiner, Beatrice Weiner, Kieran Bayne, Micah Bayne, Cole Portz and Ava Portz.
