Jason Christopher Roque

Jason was born in Tampa, Florida, to Anthony and Jeanette Roque on September 24th 1967. He married Stacy Chin Chong on December 7th 1997 in Miami, Florida. He graduated from Nova Southeastern University, College of Pharmacy in 1997. He worked as a pharmacy director/pharmacist for 11 years at Lakeland Regional, TGH, Walgreens, Amerisource Bergen, Pharmerica, Healthsouth, Dade City Hospital, Brandon Regional, and Town & Country Hospital. He played for the West Tampa Little League baseball team, and high school baseball. He also placed third in the Teenage Mr. Tampa bodybuilding competition.

Jason is preceded in death by his mother, Jeanette Roque, aunt, Shirley Larkin, and grandparents, Enrique and Christina Hernandez, and Luisa Maria Riesgo.

Jason is survived by his wife, Stacy Roque, son, Dylan Roque, brothers Mark and Anthony Roque, sister, Kim Hall Shearer, and father, Anthony Roque.

Visitation will be at 10am on June 7th 2025, at Blount & Curry Funeral Home-Carrollwood Carrollwood Chapel with a Memorial service to follow at 11:30am.

The family of Jason Roque wishes to extend our sincere thanks to the nursing staff on 3 South at Advent Health Tampa, and Accent Care Hospice for the love and care that they showed us during his last days.

We also sincerely thank Dr. Sailesh Shah, Dr. Derrick Thiel, the staff at B3 Medical, and the staff at Advent Health Home Infusion, for taking care of Jason for all these years during his fight for life.

Lastly, thank you to all our family and friends for being there for us throughout the years.
