Jimmie Joyce Wilson

Jimmie Joyce Wilson was born in Benham, Kentucky to James & Thelma Cable on May 8th, 1934. She went to school at Harlan, Ky. and graduated from Emory & Henry College. She worked as a RN for St. Joseph Hospital for 36 years.

Ms. Wilson is preceded in death by her parents James & Thelma Maye Cable, and her daughter, Paula L. Wilson and lifelong friend Eleanor Hirsch.

Ms. Wilson is survived by sister, Ladonna G. Ashcraft (Jerry); Sister Wanda D. Ashcraft (Glin); Niece, Lisa M. Hodnett (Jon); Nephew, Ray A. Ashcraft (Rebecca); Niece Shanda D. Wells (Mark); Niece, Sabrina G. Turner (Donnie), 5 great nephews, 2 great nieces, 3 great-great nephews and 2 great-great nieces.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Mark Wells, Jonathan Hodnett, Donald Turner, Steven K. Ashcraft, Logan S. Ashcraft, Hunter W. Wells, Cody R. Turner, Corey A. Vincent, Ethan R. Ashcraft, Peyton Holtzclaw , Jackson L. Ashcraft, Levi A. Vincent, Benjamin Miles Ashcraft, Mickenzie R. Vincent, and Amber D. Turner.

Graveside services will be held 3:00pm Wednesday, March 17th at Tampa Garden of Memories with Mark Wells and Donald Turner, officiating. Arrangements are by Blount & Curry Funeral Home.
