John Lindley Stockdill, 80 of Lutz Florida passed away on Sunday August 29, 2021. John was born in Fairmont, Minnesota. He received his Bachelors of Arts degree from Mankato State University and worked as a pharmaceutical sales manager for Syntex.
John enjoyed nothing more than spending time with his grandchildren. His other joys included the trips he and Sallie took to Italy, cruising, cooking and working on his car. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Sallie and his children Kristen (Mark Kral) of Charlotte, NC and Lisa (Thomas Cox) of Oak Brook, IL; and his grandchildren Tommy, Andrew ( and wife Leslie Nemo), Kelly ( and husband Frank Battaglia), Katie and Molly.
A private service will be held at St. Timothy’s Catholic Church on Tuesday, September 7th. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Timothy Catholic Church, 17512 Lakeshore Road Lutz, FL 33558 (sainttim.org) or St. Vincent de Paul, 12310 N. Nebraska Ave Tampa, FL 33612 (svdtampa.org)
