Jose F Burgos

It is with great sadness the family of Jose F. Burgos announces his passing. Jose or Kiko, as many knew him, was a loving father and son. He was always filled with joy. He worked for many years in the customer service industry. Anyone who knew him was aware of his passion for bartending. He knew how to get you tipsy on just one drink. He was born on April 28, 1974, in La Romana, Dominican Republic. At a young age, his family moved to Montreal Canada where he spent his formative years. At 18 he immigrated to the United States and lived many years in New Jersey. In 2003, he decided to call Tampa, FL his forever home. Sadly, on February 15, 2025, he was called to his eternal home.

He has left behind 4 wonderful and beloved children, Samuel A. Burgos, Ariely D. Burgos, Linery A. Burgos, and Jolie L. Burgos. He is survived by his father, Jose J. Burgos Morillo, mother, Josefina M. Ramirez Martinez, five siblings Juan F. Burgos Morillo, Alicia Burgos, Jose J. Burgos, Josefina Lora, Jay Burgos, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and loved ones.

Viewing will take place on Saturday, February 22, 2025, at 10 am Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church, 6400 E Chelsea St., Tampa, FL followed by the funeral mass at 11:30 am. Burial will be at 2:30 pm at Garden of Memories Cemetery, 4207 E. Lake Ave. Tampa, FL.
