You absolutely are the best big brother in the whole wide world. You were my first male best friend. You taught me alllllll the things. But the best thing you taught me was compassion.

Your heart to pick those around you up, even when you were struggling, defined you. I’ve gotten message after message about how you helped someone or came through. I can just smile because that’s who you are.

I promise we will keep you alive in our hearts. I love that the last memory I have of you is working in my yard. You may not have been excited - but you were there.

My heart breaks for the girls because they only had you as their uncle for a short time. I think that was my favorite hat of yours. Uncle Josh. I promise to pass down everything you taught me to them.

I love you my dear brother. Until we meet again. 💚

What defined Josh was how he was always willing to help. He was gifted in so many ways and would use those gifts by helping people. He knew my struggles and charged me next to nothing. He laid floors, installed a garbage disposal and at numerous times repaired my car, and on one occasion, came to my rescue at my job to make repairs. That help was a reflection of his heart coming from the heart of God. Thankful God looks at our hearts. He knew Josh longed for His help and God decided to take him from the fight and took him home. I love and will miss Josh…until I see him again! “Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God; believe also in me. My Father’s house has many rooms; if that were not so, Would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you?” - John 14:1-2

If you ever met Josh, then you would never forget him. He was an amazing person, weird at times but amazing. He was extraordinary brilliant and talented, stubborn, funny and giving. He was the kind of guy who would give his shirt off his back if you needed it. He new a lot of things but wasn't too proud to ask if he didn't. I always admired his ambition and his will to be a business man even at such a young age. He was never afraid of work or doing something he had no idea how to do. This is a kid who traveled to Japan by himself just because he wanted too. He accomplished so much in the little time he was here. Truly an inspiration to me. He was a great friend and brother in law to me. Im going to miss arguing about which car is better my mustang or his crx ( my mustang, I win 😁) Josh, I never told you this while you were here, and I hope and pray that one day we meet again but till then, I loved you like a brother and I'm going to miss you. I'm sorry that I wasn't there for you more. Please forgive me. Till we meet again.

Unvle Joshy was a great uncle and a very loved man. We all miss him very much. I remember some chilli dates me, my mom, my sister and uncle joshy would go on when we were little. They were so much fun. Thank you for keeping the car picture I made you when I was five. I wish you were still here so I could give you a big hug. Sometimes I think this is just a bad dream I will wake up from soon, but then have a realization that it is reality. But we all will still have you in our hearts. We will see you one day in heaven and give you a big hug. Also say hi to Roco for me I never met him, oh and grandma. love,
