Kathy was born in Hays Kansas to Craig and Annie Culley on February 1, 1947. She went to high school at DeSales Heights Academy in Parkersburg, West Virginia. She attended Colorado College in Greeley Colorado. She married Richard Mayer on May 25, 1968, In Greeley, Colorado. She worked as part of a nurse recruiting team at the VA hospital for 27 years. She was an active member of Tampa Covenant Church for almost 30 years
Kathy is proceeded in death by her parents, Craig and Annie Culley.
Kathy is survived by her husband Richard Mayer, her two daughters, Julie Nebeker and Kristine Alderson Seyller, four grandchildren, Joshua Nebeker, Caden Nebeker, Elijah Alderson and Trinity Alderson, two brothers Pat and Craig Culley, and a sister Annie Laurie Cass.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Tampa Covenant Church, located at 13320 Lake Magdalene Blvd, Tampa, FL 33618, on November 22, 2025, beginning at 2:00 pm.
Kathy's memory will be forever treasured by all who knew her.
