Joanne Jones of Clearwater, FL passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 10, 2014. She was a true native Floridian born in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida to Carl and Lillian Wilson on April 16, 1931. She was an enthusiastic spirit who loved plants, animals, Tai Chi, art, Florida, her home and family. She adored and loved all animals and was never without a pet. Devoted to the Lord, she was highly involved in her church where she created and cared for a Pet Memorial Garden. She loved Tai Chi and her Tai Chi community as well as volunteering at Ruth Eckerd Hall, where she spent 15 joyful years. A vibrant and loving soul, her enthusiasm was infectious to all around her. Joanne is survived by her loving children, Peggy Jones and Philip Jones; sister, Amy Zimmer; and nephews, Randy Zimmer and Rick Zimmer. She was deeply loved and will be missed by her community, friends, and family. A Church Service will be held at 3:00 pm on Saturday, June 21, 2014 at St. John’s Episcopal Church located at 1676 S.
