Mary Katherine Fulton

Katherine Fulton (Tal), 82, of Temple Terrace, Florida passed away August 27, 2017. Born October 15, 1934 in Andalusia, AL. Daughter of the late JT and Delona Davenport, and middle child of seven children, she moved to Tampa at the age of nine in 1944. She owned and operated an in-home daycare, Tal's Tots, for 27 years. She loved to cruise and go to the beach. She attended Fowler Avenue Baptist Church. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, James E Fulton, Sr. and her grandson, Travis Fulton. She is survived by her sons James E Fulton, Jr and his wife Carol of Harrison City, PA, Timothy Fulton and his wife Lori of Mayfield, KY; five grandchildren - Heather Dolhi, Josh Fulton, Noah Fulton, Corey Fulton, Matthew Fulton; and six great grandchildren - Peyton Fulton, Grady Fulton, Caitlin Dolhi, Delaney Fulton, Jacob Dolhi and Colby Fulton. She also leaves her companion Ken VonHeuer. There will be visitation Friday, September 1, from 4 – 7 pm at Blount & Curry Garden of Memories Funeral Home, 4207 East Lake Avenue, Tampa. Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 2, at 11 am at Blount & Curry Garden of Memories Funeral Home. She will be laid to rest at Sunset Memorial Gardens, Thonotosassa.
