Mike grew up in Tampa and was the youngest of three children. As a teen he worked driving an ambulance for a Boza Funeral Home. In 1953, at the age of 18, he was drafted into the military where he served two years. When he returned home, he worked for a well-known clothing store where he sold men’s clothing for several years. He met his wife of 65 years, Melba, and they had one son together in 1963, Maurice. He went on to become a veterinarian sales rep, traveling and enjoying his work. In 1999 he retired from his career but did not stop there. He went on to work at Boza & Roel Funeral Home. He was a hard worker and enjoyed staying busy and social.
Mike found joy and camaraderie in simple pleasures like playing dominoes and cards. The spirited competitions and laughter around the game table became a testament to the bonds of friendship and family that he cherished. His enthusiasm for sports, whether cheering for his favorite teams or engaging in conversations about games, added an extra layer of joy to family gatherings.
Survivors include his son, Maurice Owens Clementi; brother, Dominic Clementi; sister, Frances C.
