On April 2, 2015, Michael “Mike” Lozicki, 52, of Tampa, passed away from a sudden heart attack while enjoying one of his favorite pastimes — dirt biking with friends and family. Mike was born on October 7, 1962 to Edward and Charlene Lozicki in Fremont, Michigan. He graduated in 1984 with a B.A. in Marketing and Finance, and then began his career as a Business Analyst. It wasn’t long before Mike’s entrepreneurial spirit led him to launch Creative Perceptions and, later, MediaLab 3D Solutions. Mike is best remembered for his uproarious laugh. Family, friends and colleagues all agree he laughed from his heart, his gut and his soul — and often made them do the same. Mike grabbed hold of this world with unrestrained, pure joy. As a Dad, he brought an unbound enthusiasm to cheering on his kids towards their personal and academic pursuits. Mike invited risk and adventure in both business and life — diving fearlessly into kite boarding, dirt biking, water skiing and virtually any extreme sport he could get his hands on. For 20 years, as a Founding Partner of MediaLab 3D Solutions, Mike was a visionary — always in pursuit of new challenges to propel the company forward. Mike is lovingly remembered by his two daughters, Alyson Lozicki and Megan Lozicki, one son, Michael Lozicki Jr. and their mother, Gia Yee-Lozicki; his mother, Charlene Lozicki; two sisters, Jacquelyn Lozicki and Eve Marie Lozicki; one brother, Peter Lozicki; and close companion, Gabby O’Rourke. He was preceded in death by father, Edward Lozicki. Friends will be received on Tuesday, April 7, 2015 from 11:00 am -1:00 pm at Blount & Curry Funeral Home, 3207 West Bearss Ave. in Tampa. A Funeral Mass will be held that afternoon at 2:00 pm at St. Paul Catholic Church, 12708 North Dale Mabry Highway in Tampa.
