PADGETT (WOOD), Mona Mayo , 88, of Lakeland, Fl. went home to be with the Lord on July 31, 2014. She is preceded in death by her husband, Kenney M. Padgett. Mona retired from the Pasco County School District as a Bus Aide for Handicapped Children. She is survived by her daughter, Sherry L. Crompton; son, K. Andrea Padgett; daughter, Melissa D. Padgett; grandchildren; Keely Danielle, Kylee Crompton, Colin Crompton and Kim Padgett; great grandchildren, Ashton Hott, Mia Ballard and Havyn Padgett; sisters, Joyce Beck and Ann Webb-Morris; brother, Pastor J. Byron Wood. Funeral service will take place on Saturday, August 9, 2014 at 12:30 pm at Garden of Memories Funeral Home, 4207 E. Lake Avenue,Tampa, Fl. The family will receive friends from 11:30-12:30pm at the funeral home.
