Fileccia, Nicholas, age 94, passed away on January 15, 2015. A native of New York, he resided in Massapequa, and retired to Las Vegas, NV before coming to Lutz, Fl in 2012. A veteran of WW II, he served in the Pacific Theater with the Army Air Corps. He was preceded in death by his parents Antonio and Serafina Fileccia, and his son, Anthony. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Carmela (Millie); daughter Doreen Smith, and son-in-law, Mike; daughter, Marisa Ptak; 6 grand-children; five great-grandchildren and his brother Antonio Fileccia. A special thank you to all the staff at Magnolia Manor ALF for their care and support during these past three years. Memorial contributions may be made to James A. Haley Hospice Center, Tampa. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to the Blount & Curry Funeral Home Carrollwood Chapel.
