Noel Sanchez

Noel Sanchez was born on December 20, 1937 in Salina, Puerto Rico. His family moved to New York City when Noel was 9 years old. He married his high school sweetheart, Esther on July 7, 1956. Noel went on to serve in the Air Force and ultimately worked for Pan Am as a jet engine mechanic until Pam Am closed their doors. His beloved wife Esther, predeceased him on January 21, 2010.

Noel is survived by his children Rosalie Sanchez, Margie Sanchez, John Sanchez and David Sanchez (Sally), his grandchildren; Miriam Colon (Julio), Carlos Verestin (Kalindi), Nicole Goodale (Richard), his great grandchildren; Nilsa Colon, Alexciah Verestin, Alaynah Verestin, Carlos A. Verestin, Alleyah Ferrara, Sophia Colon and Rowan Parker, his great, great grandchildren Yzequiel M. Verestin and many nieces and nephews.

A visitation for Noel will be held Wednesday, January 22, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Blount & Curry Funeral Home -Carrollwood Chapel, 3207 W Bearss Ave, Tampa, FL 33618. A funeral service will occur Wednesday, January 22, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM, 3207 W Bearss Ave, Tampa, FL 33618. A graveside service will occur Wednesday, January 22, 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at Florida National Cemetery, 6502 SW 102nd Ave, Bushnell, Florida 33513.
