

Pam was born on March 24, 1966, to Beverly and James Malone in Cleveland, Ohio. After graduation from Columbus Alternative High School, Pam went on to obtain her bachelor's degree in nursing from Ursuline College. She then earned her Master of Science degree in nursing education from the University of South Florida.
Pam was a registered nurse (RN); spending most of her career working in Labor and Delivery. She worked many years in Labor and Delivery at the Cleveland Clinic before moving to Tampa. Upon moving to Tampa, she began her career at St. Joseph’s Women’s Hospital. There she was a Labor and Delivery nurse, Nurse Manager, Director of Patient Care Services and ended her career as an Administrator on Duty.
Pam loved to travel and take in the culture and history of the places she visited. Her travels spanned from Hawaii to many cities in the U.S., Canada, the islands of Caribbean, France, Spain, Greece, and Turkey.
Pam loved the water. She loved swimming and was a certified Scuba diver. Pam loved to fish and took up saltwater fishing when she moved to Florida. If water was involved, she was all for it. Pam loved the arts, particularly the theater. Spending seasons at Playhouse Square in Cleveland, or the Straz Performing Arts Center in Tampa. She loved music and going to live entertainment and concerts.
Pam loved animals. When she was young, she raided geese and participated in 4-H. Over the years she adopted many dogs and cats that enhanced the lives of our family. And she volunteered at the Humane Society of Tampa Bay.
Pam is preceded by her grandfather, Moses Gray and grandmother, Eunice Gray.
She is survived her husband, Jeffery Quarles; daughter, Mackenzie Malone and her husband, Clay White; mother, Beverly Choo; father, James Malone; brothers, Siddhartha Washington and Roman Choo and a host of family and friends who love her dearly
A memorial service to honor Pam's life will take place at 11am on Saturday, February 22, 2025 at Blount and Curry Carrollwood. The family will receive friends one hour prior starting at 10am.
