Born in Kalamazoo, Michigan, to Sue Kelley and William Cobb, Patty was later raised with love and guidance by her stepfather, John Kelley. She moved to Tampa as a child and called it home for the rest of her life. Patty built a long career as a personal banker, where she was admired for her reliability and strong work ethic.
Patty will be remembered most for her kind heart and the joy she brought to others. She had a way of making people feel seen and valued, often going out of her way to do random acts of kindness for her family, friends, neighbors, and even strangers. She loved shopping, sharing laughs with family and friends, and spending time with her beloved Chiweenie, Dottie, who never left her side.
Her greatest pride was being a mother to her son, Casey Ellsworth. She is also survived by her siblings, Gina Haddad, Marty Cobb, Brenda Huckaby, and Lyle Kelley, as well as many extended family members and friends who will carry her memory with love. She was preceded in death by her parents, Sue Kelley and William Cobb, and her stepfather, John Kelley.
Those who knew Patty will always remember her warmth, humor, and the way she could brighten a room just by being in it.
