Ralph Manuel Alfonso

With heartfelt sadness we announce that Ralph passed away peacefully at his home in Tampa on June 10, 2020 at the age of 93. Ralph is survived by his son, Dennis Alfonso (Ana); daughter, Lee Pope (Jack); three grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren. He was predeceased in death by his wife, Carmen Alfonso.

Ralph dedicated his life to the church and was a member of Mary Help of Christian Catholic Church for many years and as a Eucharistic Minister, he visited nursing and private homes bringing communion to the sick and the home bound.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated 12 p.m. Wednesday, June 17, 2020 at Mary Help Of Christians Center, 6400 East Chelsea Street, Tampa. Entombment to follow in Myrtle Hill Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 10-11 a.m. at Blount & Curry Funeral Home at Garden of Memories, 4207 East Lake Avenue, Tampa.
