Raul born in Moca, Puerto Rico, had a heart for helping people; having careers that involved transporting schoolchildren and then later on the elderly.
Traveling all around the United States as he was younger, Raul ultimately planted his feet in Tampa, Florida but his heart always stayed with Puerto Rico.
Raul enjoyed playing dominoes with friends and family, keeping up with Tampa Bay sports, and collecting Marvel comics and baseball cards. He was very crafty and always lent his handi-man skills to others. Raul found peace and serenity listening to the rain.
Raul is survived by Angela, his beloved wife of 27 years, son Andrew, daughters; Kim and Marisol, siblings Carmen and Peter, 8 grandchildren; Jake, Cameron, Isaac, Leanna, Adam, Mikaela, Marissa, Aaron, extended family, and friends.
A Funeral Mass will be conducted 11 a.m., Thursday, April 7, 2022 at Corpus Christi Catholic Church, 9715 N. 56th Street, Temple Terrace, FL 33617. A Visitation will be held from 12 p.m. - 1:45 p.m. at Blount & Curry Funeral Home at Garden of Memories followed by a Committal Service at 2 p.m. at Garden of Memories Cemetery, 4207 E. Lake Ave., Tampa, FL 33610.
