

Raymon Estevez, Jr., 55 of Tampa, FL. passed away on August, 3, 2024. Born and raised in Tampa, Raymon attended Tampa Catholic High School and later received his AA from St. Leo University. He took great pride in his work ethic and knew he wanted to have a career serving his community. Raymon started with the Hillsborough County Jail then joined Pasco County Sheriff’s Office and then the Tampa Police Department (TPD). In 2018 he retired as a detective with TPD and went on to become an investigator with the State Attorney's Office.
Raymon loved life and enjoyed shooting, eating, listening to music and spending time with his dogs Lily and Layla. He was an animal lover, strong in his faith but also enjoyed playing practical jokes on friends and family. But more than anything, he loved spending time with his daughter, Daniella.
He is predeceased by his mother, Pura Estevez and father, Raymon Estevez Sr.
Raymon is survived by his wife, Rhonda Estevez; daughter, Daniella Estevez; Brother Frank Menendez, spouse, Cyndy; Sister Lorraine Alvarado, spouse, Mark; Sister Cecelia Rodriguez, spouse, Carlos; Brother Tony Menendez, spouse, Lisa; Sister RayMarie Estevez; nephew, Billy Lenoir, and many other loving nephews and nieces.
A Funeral Service to honor and celebrate Raymon’s life will take place at 11am on Monday, August 19, 2024 at Idlewild Baptist Church located at 18333 Exciting Idlewild Blvd, Lutz, FL 33548. The family will receive friends starting one hour prior starting at 10am.
