

Born on July 27, 1943, in Panama City, FL, to Clyde and Doris Garrison, Becky grew up in her hometown of Cullman, AL. In November 1962, she married Lawrence Edward Eckley in Tampa, FL. They raised three sons and were lovingly married for nearly 45 years.
Becky had a successful and celebrated career in real estate for nearly 40 years. She began as an agent in 1978 before establishing herself as a notable broker with in 1984. Becky proudly served with the Greater Tampa Realtors, including roles on the Grievance and By-Laws committees. Becky also served as the Women's Council of Realtors president for one year. Becky received countless awards and designations throughout her real estate career that she loved so much.
Becky was also a dedicated member of several community service organizations. She was a past President of the Tampa Jayceettes (1977) and served as its State Congresswoman. She was also a Guardian Ad Litem and passionate advocate for children who were often in difficult or unsafe situations.
Rebecca is preceded in death by her father, Clyde "Bud" Garrison, mother Doris Garrison, husband Lawrence Eckley, brother Wayne Garrison and grandson Keith Rohde.
Rebecca is survived by her sons Gregory Eckley (Tina), Mitchell Eckley (Maria), and Shawn Eckley (Jessica); her grandchildren Marisa, Hunter E., Hunter B., Rebeka, Lauren, Phoenix, Jackson, and Carsyn; her nephew Jamie (Adrea) and brother Mitch Garrison.
Memorial services will be held on Saturday, November 4, 2023, at 11a.m. at St Mark's Episcopal Church, 13312 Cain Road, Tampa, Florida 33625.
Rebecca will be interred next to her beloved husband, Lawrence Eckley, in Cullman, AL, on November 10, 2023.
