Ric DeSciscio, 65 years old, died in Tampa on May 19, 2025. After being born in Boston, Massachusetts, his family relocated to South Florida in the 1970s. Cooking became his passion and career for most of his adult life and once he became a father, he left the restaurant world and created a successful paint contracting business. (But he never left the kitchen.)
He is survived by his wife, Jodi; his two daughters, Chelsea Kayla and Sarah Jordan; his brother and wife, Marc and Joellen Desciscio; and his sister and her husband, Patrice and Jim Barry.
Gathering of friends and family will be held at 2pm on Tuesday, June 10, 2025 at Blount and Curry Carrollwood located at 3207 W. Bearss Ave Tampa, FL. 33618 with a service to honor Ric starting at 3pm.
