Richard Alfred Baughn

Rick was Born November 18, 1953 in Jacksonville, Florida to the late Viola and Henry Baughn.

He graduated from Robert E. Lee High School in Jacksonville, Florida and then attended the University of South Florida where he was a member of the ATO fraternity.

He was a life long lover of the outdoors and an avid fisherman and golfer. He was also a talented singer and guitarist in several bands.

A successful businessman, Rick owned and operated several businesses throughout his career.

He is survived by his two sons, Brent Baughn (Erica) and Blake Baughn, his sister Sharon Steedley (Bill), one grandson Noah Baughn, and former wife Shelly Baughn.

He is also survived by 2 nieces Caroline Smith (Park), Catie Ferguson (Mike), and one nephew Chandler Steedley and his fiancé Abby Bourque. He also had a great-niece and two great-nephews.

The family will receive guests at the Blount & Curry Funeral Home -Carrollwood Chapel, 3207 W Bearss Ave Tampa, Florida 33618, on Monday, December 16, from 2:00pm - 2:30pm, followed by a memorial service.

In lieu of flowers, we request donations be made to Moffitt Cancer Center to help breakthrough research and make innovative treatments possible for future patients.
