Richard Tucker Stevens

September 17, 1937 – December 11, 2022

Richard, a beloved husband, father, uncle, and friend passed away at home in Tampa, Florida on December 11, 2022.

Richard is survived by his wife of 60 years, Lucia Stevens. He is also survived by one of two children – Mike (Laurie) Stevens, nieces Eileen Stevens, Jennifer Stevens, nephew Walter Stevens and Marnie Stevens (widow of David Stevens).

Richard was preceded in death by his parents John and Catherine Stevens and his son, David Stevens.

Richard served on the USS Monrovia during his time in the US Navy. He graduated from Rutgers University, enjoyed sailing, painting, and traveling around the world.

He loved and enjoyed his large extended family from PA, NJ, NY, and CT.

There will be a funeral service on Friday January 6, 2023 at 1:00pm ET at Grace Lutheran Church, 3714 W. Linebaugh Avenue, Tampa, FL 33618. The gravesite service will be immediately following at Myrtle Hill Memorial Park located near 4207 East Lake Avenue, Tampa, FL 33610 (Section 28, use entrance off Dr. Martin Luther King Jr Blvd)

He had a witty sense of humor and loved his family deeply and will be carried in our hearts and memories forever.
